Product Description

Dance. Take the Floor ®: Ultimate Wedding DVD is the most comprehensive instructional Wedding Dance DVD on the market.

With over 90 minutes of private dance instruction, it's great value at just AUD $34.95.  This is the only DVD that allows you to move outside the traditional Bridal Waltz and slow rhythm dance and create a First Dance to suit your own personal style.

By learning to dance, you can make your First Dance as husband and wife a really special, enjoyable and memorable part of your Wedding day celebrations.  The Ultimate Wedding Dance DVD provides all the guidance and tips you will need to make this a reality.

Serghei Bolgarschii and Natalie Lowe are world formation champion dancers and choreographers who have helped many celebrities learn to dance and ‘win’ on Dancing with the Stars in Australia. Now you would like to share their dancing tips and know-how with you to ensure that your Wedding Dance adds that perfect finishing touch to your wedding day. It’s like having private dance lessons with these highly qualified dance instructors, in the privacy of your own home.

The DVD is very user friendly and that it has been designed for beginners: it will teach couples everything you need to know from the basic holds through to how to do a lift and dip, and lots of moves in between. These moves are quite easy to do when you are shown how and Serghei will explain the move on the DVD.

Serghei has choreographed 5 routines for the DVD, based on different dance styles, that will suit most pieces of music. If couples haven’t chosen their wedding dance music you can go on-line where Serghei has listed the top 100 wedding dance songs, with indication of how easy/difficult it is to dance to and also which routine you suit.

Every move is explained by Serghei and Natalie, step by step. Each move is shown in 3 ways:
o      Full length, with Serghei talking the male through his part – including the holds, timing, and tricks to make the move look good … then Natalie will talk the lady through her part. We do remind couples not to try and learn each other’s part!
o      Filmed from the knee down, so you can clearly see the foot work.
o      Animated footprints that are easy to follow.

Learning to dance at home is popular, especially if you don’t see yourself as dancers. You don’t have the pressure or embarrassment of going to a dance studio. Most people don’t think you can dance, but it’s only because you have never been taught the steps. Once you are taught the steps it’s quite easy.

So just relax and enjoy the process of learning together. At home, you will have time, and it should be fun. It doesn’t have to be too serious. Even if you find it a bit difficult at first, it will quickly ‘click’ once you have done a few repetitions.
